How to Choose and create your .mr Domain Name?

May request the registration or renewal of a Mauritanian domain name administered by NIC Mauritania:

- Any person residing in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania,

- Any person having Mauritanian citizenship established abroad,

- Any legal entity having its headquarters or representation in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

- Any legal entity having their office abroad and having a mark covering the territory of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and requesting the registration of a domain name corresponding to this mark.

The domain name holder and his administrative contact must be reachable.

The registration of a domain name does not take place directly with NIC-Mauritania but with one of the registration offices accredited by NIC-Mauritania. This service is chargeable and the rate is freely fixed by the Registration Office.
